White Light Parade

White Light Parade (WLP
*) are a British alternative rock band from Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. The band originally consisted of brothers Danny Yates (Lead Vocals/Lead Guitar) and Jono Yates (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), with Tom Emmett (Bass) and Nici Todd (Drums). Due to differences original drummer Nici Todd is no longer in the band and has been replaced by long-time friend and session drummer Mark Lewalski.
WLP
* are signed to London independent record label, Split Records.
The band has supported and toured the UK and Europe with bands such as: Fightstar, The Subways, Twin Atlantic, Ash, The Twang, The Enemy, & Kasabian.
They have also played Sold Out shows including The Cockpit in Leeds and were also on the bill for Bingley Music Live alongside members from The Jam and The Bluetones, playing to thousands of people.

* released their Limited Edition debut single 'Wait For The Weekend' in February 2008, it charted at a very respectable No. 17 on the Official UK Indie Chart, as well as receiving critical acclaim and support from XFM.
The follow-up single 'Turning All The Lights Down', released in May 2008, broke into the top 10 of the Official UK Indie Chart placing at No. 6 and spent 3 weeks in the top 40. The single received support from Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1.
'Riot In The City', the b-side to their debut single, is featured on multi-million selling Rockstar Games video game, ''Grand Theft Auto IV''.
The band's debut album 'House Of Commons' was released to critical acclaim in the UK on 25 May 2009 and was produced by Pete Miles (The King Blues). The album gathered strong support from the like of; SkySports, BBC Radio, XFM, Kerrang!, RockSound & Big Cheese and was also released in Europe and Japan.

* have collaborated with Sonic Boom Six and Itch from The King Blues on the b-side 'Rebellion Call'. The band can be heard regularly on SkySports over highlights and introductions to programmes, games and matches etc.

* track 'Young Believers' has recently been featured as the soundtrack to the UK Football Premier League and Americas Little League Baseball on ESPN in the USA!
After a brief hiatus White Light Parade
* are returning with brand new single 'Want You To Know' which will be released in early 2012 and is currently gathering momentum on SkySports programmes such as Soccer AM. The new material is being produced by Sean Genocky Manic Street Preachers, The Futureheads, Suede and Starsailor etc. WLP
* are also currently working on their 2nd album with Sean Genocky, in among playing shows over the coming months.
